Drive-thru Service Window Shades

Drive-thru windows present manyunique problems involving sun and glare.

At Shade Techniques, LLC we understand how a comfortable work environment affects productivity and customer satisfaction.  Moveable shades are operated to give an "up or down"-only look, to provide consistency.  Velcro panels are also available for other problem windows.  Shade Techniques is dedicated to producing the best shade systems available, and has developed effective sun control solutions exclusively for the restaurant industry.

The standard fabric for this application is a PVC-coated fiberglass with a 70% blockage factor, in a charcoal color.  This will significantly reduce the amount of glare and heat coming into these areas, providing users of CRTs and digital computer screens better visibility and less eye strain.  In addition, shades can add time to the life of the computer and register screens.  Use of these shades will reduce the cost of HVAC to these specialized areas.  Shades still provide employees with visibility to the outside.

Series 110

Shade Techniques, LLC also provides stationary panels for serving windows that slide or open to the outside.  These panels use the same PVC-coated fabric as the shades in Series 150, but are velcro applied depending on their location.
